
Project Manager
Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring custom aluminum transport equipment manufacturing projects. They act as a resource person between clients, the design department, production, and suppliers to ensure project delivery in compliance with timelines, budgets, and the company's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management and Coordination
- Plan and coordinate manufacturing and repair projects, from launch to delivery.
- Monitor schedules, costs, and production priorities.
- Coordinate product delivery.
- Manage warranty returns.
Technical Analysis and Preparation
- Translate sales and technical specifications from tenders into production specifications.
- Filter, interpret, and enhance technical information required for manufacturing.
- Participate in client meetings to fully understand their technical requirements.
- Obtain client approval following the design stages.
Communication and Customer Service
- Communicate project progress to clients.
- Conduct necessary follow-ups for in-production changes (adjustments, additional requests, deviations, additions, or extras).
- Communicate customer feedback to the team, including both positive comments and complaints.
Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with the design, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment for smooth project execution.
Quality and Continuous Improvement
- Document and address non-conformities identified during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Assist with cost calculation and invoice tracking.

- Knowledge of welding, aluminum, or heavy transport (asset).
Languages
- Predominantly French-speaking clientele.
- Ability to serve and communicate with English-speaking clients.
Working Conditions
Compensation
- Between $80,000 and $110,000 per year.

Specific Requirements
- Ability to reliably commute to Dunham, QC or plan to relocate before starting (required).
